MOZA CRP2 Pedals – 2nd Generation Load Cell Pedal Set

The second generation of Load Cell pedal sets has arrived at Moza Racing! The CRP2 is more than just an update of the previous model. It offers a brand-new design and customization options that make it one of the best pedal sets for sim racing. Built from aluminum and carbon fiber, the MOZA CRP2 is equipped with a 200 kg load cell for optimal braking precision, along with 1764 customization options. It is compatible with PC and Xbox consoles (via the ESX steering wheel).

Design, Materials, and Load Cell

The MOZA CRP2 pedal set stands out with a minimalist design featuring black and gold finishes. Its smooth curves and hexagonal surfaces evoke stability, balance, and performance. This racing pedal set is made from aerospace-grade aluminum, precisely machined using advanced CNC processes, and anodized for a high-quality finish. To ensure robustness, Moza Racing used automotive-grade materials, pressure-cast for durability. The steel base guarantees durability even during intense racing sessions, while the carbon fiber heel plate minimizes friction. Additionally, all springs and dampers are placed in closed compartments, reducing noise during braking and acceleration.

Equipped with a 200 kg load cell sensor on the brake pedal, it simulates the braking force of real race cars. This sensor allows for precise modulation of applied force and promotes the development of muscle memory, essential for optimal performance. A high-precision 15-bit angle sensor complements the setup, offering exceptional control over braking. While primarily designed for sim racing on PC, the CRP2 is also compatible with Xbox consoles when used with the ESX steering wheel. On PC, the Pit House software allows for fine-tuning to fully exploit all the capabilities of the MOZA CRP2.

A Customizable Pedal Set

The brake pedal of the MOZA CRP2 is equipped with a damper system that includes blocks of different hardness. The pedal set comes with 55R, 70R, 80R, and 98R rubbers by default, offering up to 125 possible combinations to adjust the braking feel to your liking. Thus, braking can be configured to mimic that of a standard race car, a rally vehicle, or a Formula 3 single-seater. An optional performance kit adds additional springs and dampers to replicate the sensations of an F1 car, a Supercar, and more!

The accelerator pedal is equipped with a spring that ensures a smooth acceleration feel. The pedal set includes two springs of different resistance levels to adjust the feel according to user preferences, allowing simulation of various vehicle throttle responses. The optional CRP2 clutch pedal faithfully reproduces the feel of a high-performance clutch, with a three-stage travel. It also comes with two springs with variable resistance for even more customization.
